‘Brickclean London’ was set up by Kieran Forkin in January 2000, a New Firm for a New Century. We are a family owned business.
Initially we did exactly what we were called. We cleaned Victorian and Edwardian Buildings of the effects of one hundred and fifty years of Air Pollution from the Bricks.
Once cleaned, we uncovered the problems of weather damage, water damage and time damage to the brickwork.
We rapidly started providing other restoration services such as Re-pointing, Brick Repairs, Brick Replacements to rectify the above mentioned damages and restore the brickwork to its original appearance. The natural progression for us was to expand into removal of brick coverings such as paint, pebbledash, render, textured coating, cladding and restore the underlying brickwork to its former glory.
A common misconception is that pebbledash cannot be removed without causing major and irreversible damage to the brickwork. However, this is not the case. Brickclean London’s team has developed the expertise not only in skillfully removing the pebbledash but also in restoration work of affected brickwork.
The name of our company has remained unchanged, however the scope of the services provided by us has expanded over time to include all aspects of Brick Restoration Work. We are now a full service Brickwork Restoration company.
